Huntsville Radon Mitigation is a free referral service. We are not a radon contractor, we don't send technicians, and we don't set prices. When you call or submit the form, we connect you with an independent radon professional who serves your part of Madison County.
Why a referral service
Radon companies in north Alabama range from dedicated mitigation specialists to home inspectors who test as a side service. Because Alabama has no state radon license, it isn't always obvious who's qualified. We aim to make that first step easier: one call, and you're talking to someone who does this work locally.
What we look for in professionals
- Current certification with the National Radon Proficiency Program (NRPP) or the National Radon Safety Board (NRSB), the programs ADPH points residents to.
- Diagnostics before quoting, written quotes, and post-mitigation testing.
- Clear warranties and a reduction guarantee in writing.
- Prompt callbacks.
You should still verify certification yourself and ask the questions on our mitigation page. The contract is between you and the professional you choose.
What we don't do
We don't perform testing or installation, give medical or legal advice, or guarantee any contractor's work. The information on this site summarizes public sources, linked on each page, so you can check it yourself.
Is there a cost?
No. The service is free to homeowners. Participating professionals may pay for referrals. That doesn't change your price, and you're never obligated to hire anyone.
